Startup Budget Assignment
This assignment will develop student awareness of the responsibilities, rewards, expenses and pitfalls of small business startup. The first component will involve accessing and researching the typical expenses of a 3 employee machine/welding/fabricating facility in Norfolk County. Also central to the assignment is spreadsheet calculation/formulation.

Cost out Rent, utilities, labour, insurance, financing, capital, consumables and sadly, taxes, for the first year of business operation. Students will use textbooks, the internet and personal sources to gather the data.

Given a $200,000 year one income with 10% growth estimated determine, using a spreadsheet software like Excel, a 5 year profit/loss scenario.
